Taco Treat -- Great Falls, MT

After a Sunday afternoon of shopping on 10th Avenue South in Great Falls with my daughter, Savannah Rose, we decided to try Taco Treat.

She ordered a Chicken Fiesta Salad and I ordered Supreme Nachos along with 2 medium drinks. The price for the order was reasonable, but we found the food to be bland, even with the sauce. Also, the cups for a "medium" size were not very big and we filled them up three times before leaving.

On a very good note: there were some wonderful works of art in the form of masks hanging on the wall and I couldn't help pulling out the digital camera to capture some photos.

I did not see a note about whether these are regular on display or some local artist or class work. Kudos go out the the creator(s)!

These are the pictures I took at this event. They don't do the shine on chrome that was on display that day. A lot of love goes into each of these pieces of art.

With talks of the economy and auto industry bankruptcy on national news, I couldn't help take some pictures of one of the Pontiacs at the show. My 11 year old son, Wynston loved the airplane on the front!

My first visit to Hobby Land in Great Falls, MT located on Central Avenue was like stepping into another world. So much to see and imagine into my own creations.

Purchases were made for me and my son, Wynston.

Also, I talked with a very nice lady named Janet and learned of the Great Falls Art Association.

The photos are of the wonderful wildlife display found there.

Wintry Visions Earlier This Week

By Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service office in Great Falls had recorded 13 inches of snow for the day — that's on top of 8 inches from the previous day — and the flakes were still falling.

The previous high for snowfall on April 29 in the city was 5.4 inches, set way back in 1913.
